We're connected:

At Memory Catcher, we recognize that recording your story is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Our team will work closely with you through all stages of the process to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the finished product.  Our interviews are essentially guided walks down memory lane, and are conducted by our production team in your home, or other quiet environment where you are comfortable. Interview sessions vary, but the time often ranges from 2 to 6 hours, with breaks as needed to rest or collect your thoughts.

A pre-production interview will be conducted either over the telephone or at your home, at which time we will discuss what is important to you in preserving your memories, and learn your goals.  In follow up, a custom list of thought-provoking questions for the interview will be sent for your review. Topics for the interview will include your early background, career, accomplishments, family stories, values and life philosophies.

On the day of your video biography interview, our professional crew will arrive at your home to set up our camera, sound and light equipment. The interview will then be conducted on camera.  We are here to help you record your story, and you are in charge at all times during the interview.  Your boundaries will be respected, if there is anything you do not wish to discuss during your interview.

You will be asked to gather photographs and other mementos you wish to add to the finished product, and ensure they are available to be scanned or photographed for inclusion in your video biography.

We will discuss with you interviewing other people who you feel may add perspective on your life and adding their contributions to your finished biography. In addition, we may access external sources for archived photos, maps and other relevant documents.

As the editing of video biographies

is labour intensive, the process may take several months to complete. Rush orders may be accommodated at an additional charge.
